We carry bagged soils:

If you wish to condition the soil ---Humus and Manure or black cow manure are the top choices to use along with mulch. The main reason is the bacteria and micro organisms in the composted soil. These are very helpful with fungus and mildew and play a big role in maintaining the proper Ph in the soil.  We carry loose composted cow manure that we will sell you based on the amount that you need.

For planting in pots, hanging baskets and even the flower beds---use potting soil. When you are planting in pots and in hanging baskets you need soil that holds moisture longer than the others and is light and fluffy. Heavy soil would be too much weight in a hanging basket. Heavy soil would have a tendency to compact in tall pots and containers.  Potting Soil - $3.50 per bag.

I tried to save you a little Doe:

For 6 years we refused to go up in price on our bag goods (even though we had three price increases)----but with this new order I must tell you that we must go up by .50 cents a bag on mulch and potting soil to 3.50 per bag. I held out as long as I could, trying to save you a little doe.  I am sorry but my cost is too high to stay the same price any longer. It had to happen at some point---I wanted you to know and hear it from me first.

I don’t want you thinking that I am  trying to be a hog or something.

See the camera in my hand and see the blind in the back ground---that is where I hide and take pictures. I hope they bring a smile to your face like they do mine….God bless you all.
